We had a great time inaugurating the U.N.B.B.Q by artists Jennifer Allora & Guillermo Calzadilla were commissioned for a permanent art-work, part of Open Source Amsterdam, the first international open air art manifestation in the Bijlmermeer. Curator Helga Lasschuijt decided to set things in motion and organised a public bbq. She counted on 10 people to come but that turned out to be some 20 people and a zillion kids ![]()

Purpura ontwikkelde de communicatiestrategie voor zowel de Straat van Sculpturen als Open Source Amsterdam en de fondsenwervingsstrategie.
Voor Open Source Amsterdam voerde Purpura de communicatiestrategie ook uit en verzorgde zij de mediarelaties. O.a. met behulp van Marieke Haverlag, Eva Janssen en Daniëlle Friskes.
Trailer Open Source Amsterdam – extra new
Open Source Amsterdam, the first international art manifestation in Amsterdam’s public space, will open on May 9, 2009. Queen Beatrix will be opening this unique event. Open Source Amsterdam will take place from May 9 till July 11 2009. it consists of 16 works by international and local artists. Their work forms a route between subway station Kraaiennest and railway station Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA. It is open for the public, 24/7 and the entrance is free.
